I found some D.strictus at the Lowe's in San Antonio.
but haven't seen any since, every time i go back the specialist
always direct me to the other bamboo.

My guess would be......5 years unless you know the right people.
I don't know any of them,so, i probably won't be getting any?

The age of the plant and how long it's been in the ground could also be a factor.

Has anyone tried bayer tree & shrub insect control?
it contains Merritt for mealybugs.

All the usual suspects are doing their thing.
I was particularly happy to see my total top kill D.Strictus
has a small shoot.
