Stunning plant :D Hope you have good drainage there Bill, this one seems to suffer more than most of it's class when it comes to waterlogged soil  . I've already killed the linder form and the KR version is just starting to leaf out after a warm wet winter. I think I'm gonna have to move it before this winter, it's half the size it was planted at...

Just looking around this isn't listed your way, I take it it's a fairly new intro and hard to acquire
Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!

The first winter this plant will be planted in the sand floor of my greenhouse. Because I have rotted rhizomes in the winter, I made sure that it has good drainage.

The plant originally imported into the States as F. yulongshanensis was identified as Borinda nujiangensis in 2003 or 04. Ian Connor then imported this form from Kimmie. Currently I think he is the only source of the plant in the US.

I just found his catalog and he has it listed at $300 for a one gallon pot  so I guess I should take very good care of it.

I too, have a nice one gallon from Ian acquired in June. It's going in the ground this Fall. It's good to have bamboo friends! :D
