I love taking pictures of bamboo especially when they are covered in dew like this, or whenever they are putting out new shoots/rhizomes.
The last 2 pictures are young pubuscens moso grown from seed some time in April about 3 months ago and most of them are growing pretty well for me, especially the ones in 5 gallon pots such as these. I don't really understand why they tend to grow faster in larger pots so I guess it must be better temperature regulation or growing space. I have one from this same batch that has made 11 shoots so far not including the original culm while some with only working on their 1st or 2nd shoot.

It stays until the AM sun hits, which for most of mine is after 10AM so even I see this and I NEVER get up early!
