And for those who say that B. textilis is a tight clumper (more so than it's identical B. tex. 'Mutabilis"), look at the picture below. The reason the big clump of B. tex. "Kanapaha" at Kanapaha Gardens in Gainesville, Fl looks to be so tight clumping is that the garden digs off of the clump and sells the divisions. Digging on a clump will make the clump have tighter clumping culms.
