Oldhamii maybe?

I dug this one today with a friend. We were unable to get any mature culms, but we got some good sized root mass with some new shoots coming up. I'm not sure what the distinguishing characteristics of B. oldhamii are, but this one looks different from B. Vulgaris. Unfornately I didn't have my camera to take any pictures of the entire plant.

That's a 4" diameter B. vulgaris in the background.

oldhamii culm sheaths are fuzzy (bottom ones might be smooth, but once you get a few nodes up they will be fuzzy). If these are all smooth then they are B. odashimae.

I believe Mantis is correct.

Thanks for the replies. This one is all smooth, so odashimae it is.

This was an old unknown that I posted a while ago:

I don't have any recent pictures, but do you think this is B. cornigera due to the hairs on the sheath blades?
