Anymore, I use a backhoe to dig a huge (approximately 300 gallon hole) and then back fill with premium compost and regular soil (1/2 and 1/2) then elevate the soil level about 1 - 2 feet and then cover with cypress mulch. After a month or so, I add a little soil sulfur to make our alkaline soil a little more acidic and then add some fertilizers.dudley wrote:ground preparation???
