Single cane Atrovaginata (classic whipshoot in there) in the foreground and Rubromarginata behind it, dug in March, both shooting and hopefully filling those pots this summer.

My P. dulcis has yet to put up a shoot this year. :?

How tall are your Petasites japonica?
Southern Indiana.
My Bamboo List.

The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.

Oops, just saw these 2 questions - the bissetii grove that shoot is from is now I believe 8 winters in the ground. That grove produced a 30 footer about 3 years ago, I over thinned it severely followed by a harsh winter and it got smaller, this year back to the 20-23 feet range I'd guess on the new stuff, the 30 footer is still around with some tip damage.

Dan, the petasites is about 4 feet tall.
