I moved my potted lako inside about a week ago. Before I brought it in It did a late season shoot, nice size about an inch. Right now the shoot measures 37.5", that hasn't changed in the last couple of days. It looks healthy, no off color, drying out or anything. Should I just let it be and see what happens or should I whack it off at the base? It is in a spot where the whole wall is basically windows so it gets very good light/sun. I can grab a picture if that would help.
Thanks for any thoughts! Cheers.

Re: B. Lako indoor shoot..what to do
Leave it be. I had a shoot on a D. validus that was idle for 2 weeks, and then one day it just took off. It has now grown over 5' in the last 3 weeks.
Good luck!

Mantis is right leave it be. It might abort but if it doesn't you are that much farther ahead for spring. I have several Lako's in my in heated green house. Many with shoots. If it doesn't freeze real hard the shoots eventually start to grow. Very slow compared to summer and fall. Be care full not to over water since like mine in the green house they may have a reduced metabalism.

Thanks for the replies, I will leave it.
I have only watered it when I see the leaves are starting to curl.

Just a little update.
Well the shoot has grown an incredible 2 inches :lol. It still looks very healthy so we will see what happens. I just moved the Lako back outdoors and should be happier soon.

Funny, but whenever I view your location I read it as "Fairbanks, Alaska". I was wondering what you were doing growing Lako in Alaska.
